Celebrate Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest is not just a German celebration of—and with—beer but a state of mind that erupts every fall in certain corners of New York City. But for a truly luxurious Oktoberfest beer tasting with a real New York edge, come to this elegant spot for a Swords and Gourds Pumpkin Ale with some roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon, and the spirit of the season will be coursing through you in no time. 

With its wood paneling and old-school light fixtures, Midtown’s District Tap House offers an Oktoberfest experience as a midcentury New York tycoon might have designed it, with a plentiful food menu and beers like the Schöfferhofer Grapefruit Hefeweizen that all alone will turn you into a regular.
